Orbysea

A few precious memories from every place you've ever been.

You're aboard. A postcard will find you at launch.

The story
1977 · The origin

A voyager left home.

It carried a golden record — 115 images and the sounds of Earth, chosen to say: this is who we were, this is what it sounded like here. A whole world, kept small on purpose. Orbysea began with that idea.

The look back

Before leaving forever, it turned for one last photograph.

Home, from six billion kilometres away — a pale blue dot. Everything you've ever loved, in a single frame. Small things hold everything.

The golden record

Your journeys get one too.

Your last trip left 4,000 photos you'll never look at. Orbysea works like the voyager did — every journey gets a record, and the record is small on purpose.

When the trip ends, the record is pressed — sealed, dated, yours. No endless albums. No feed. Just the few that mattered.

The memory

Every memory is a postcard.

Front, what you saw. Back, where and when, the one line you wrote — and ten seconds of how it sounded.

The whole picture

One day, you'll lay the world flat.

Every region you've ever lit, on a single chart. Keep going — there's one more thing.
